Terms of Service
These Terms of Service explain the rules for using OSSora. They are intended to be balanced, readable, and suitable for launch, while preserving rights that may apply under mandatory law.
Effective date: May 5, 2026
Operator and ownership
OSSora is a product of Thicle Sàrl-S, Luxembourg. Registered address: 3 Um Paerchen, 8352 Dahlem, Luxembourg. Company registration number: B265768. VAT number: LU33898674.
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing, uploading data, or using OSSora, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Who may use OSSora
OSSora may be used by both business customers and consumer customers at launch. The service is intended for users who need help preparing OSS-ready VAT summaries from CSV sales data.
You must be legally able to enter into a subscription or use agreement in your country or organization.
Accounts and security
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must provide accurate account and organization information.
- You are responsible for activity under your account unless the activity results from OSSora's own failure to apply reasonable security measures.
- You should notify support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Subscription access, trials, and plan limits
OSSora is sold as a recurring subscription. Launch plans include a 14-day free trial. Plan limits may apply to uploads, mapping templates, import history, and support level.
Before starting Stripe Checkout, users must confirm the current legal terms and digital subscription notice. OSSora stores a record of that acceptance for the organization and user.
If your subscription is trialing or active, you may use the core product within your plan limits. If your subscription is past due, canceled, or inactive, OSSora may allow login and read-only access while blocking new uploads, exports, templates, and summary generation.
Acceptable use
- Use OSSora only for lawful purposes.
- Do not upload data you do not have the right to process.
- Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, security controls, billing controls, or access restrictions.
- Do not use OSSora to transmit malware, harmful content, or unlawful material.
- Do not interfere with the stability, security, or operation of the service.
Your data and responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of uploaded data, source files, column mappings, and any settings you choose.
Generated summaries depend on the uploaded CSV data and mappings. If source data, mappings, dates, country values, or amounts are wrong, the output may also be wrong.
No tax advice and no filing
OSSora is a filing-preparation software tool. It does not provide legal, accounting, or tax advice. It does not submit VAT returns or OSS filings for you.
You remain responsible for reviewing summaries, deciding whether figures are correct, getting professional advice where needed, and submitting any required returns or reports.
OSSora does not guarantee that generated outputs are legally sufficient for your specific business without review.
Service availability
OSSora aims to provide a reliable service, but no uptime guarantee is provided unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Maintenance, provider outages, bugs, or security work may affect availability.
Billing through Stripe
Billing, payment collection, invoicing, and customer portal access are handled through Stripe on behalf of Thicle Sàrl-S. Tax may be added at checkout where applicable.
Plan changes, renewals, failed payments, and cancellations may be handled through Stripe-hosted flows or the OSSora billing area.
Suspension and termination
OSSora may suspend or restrict access if payment fails, a subscription is canceled, usage violates these Terms, or continued access creates security, legal, or operational risk.
You may stop using OSSora and cancel your subscription through the billing area or Stripe customer portal, subject to the billing and cancellation policy.
Intellectual property and feedback
OSSora, including its software, interface, branding, and documentation, is owned by Thicle Sàrl-S or its licensors. You retain rights in the data you upload, subject to the rights needed for OSSora to provide the service.
If you send feedback or suggestions, OSSora may use them to improve the product without owing compensation, while respecting confidentiality and privacy obligations where applicable.
Liability and indemnity
OSSora is provided as a software tool to support preparation and review. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited for indirect losses, lost profits, business interruption, data errors caused by uploaded files or mappings, and compliance decisions made by users.
You may be responsible for claims or losses caused by unlawful uploaded data, misuse of the service, or breach of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer protection law.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Any disputes related to the service shall be subject to the competent courts of Luxembourg, unless mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise.
